Garth Ploog
Jazz/ Funk / Swing performer
Garth Ploog is one of the most dynamic and original Nu Jazz artists to land on the Australian scene. Swooning audiences with his rich vocal tones and charismatic presence, he has been compared to Harry Connick Jr, Jamie Cullum, and Michael Buble.
He recently returned from New York after working on his album with 4 x Grammy nominated producer Larry Dvoskin. Dvoskin has worked with Ricky Martin, David Bowie, Sting, Chicago, along with A list producers such as David Foster.
Garth has also been co-writing with Robert Lamm (Chicago) and Simon Kirke (Ringo Star) and recorded at New York's Excello Studios. The Marco Panascia Band (whose credits include as Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock and Joe Lavano) performed on Garth's album.
Whilst in the USA, he peformed with the legendary Jazz artist, Dini Clarke. Dini was an original player with Billy Holliday, Ella FitzGerald, Eartha Kitt and Roberta Flack.
Garth's is currently performing with Australia's renowned "ambassador of soul" Mr John Montesante and his quintet (JMQ). Paying tribute to the BeBop era and timeless jazz classics, the JMQ includes not only Garth but other fine guest jazz musicians such as Wilbur Wilde & Gil Askey.
Reuben Krum
Comical Cabaret Performer
In 2006 Reuben Co-created WASTED UNDERGROUND for 45 Downstairs with Debra Leiser-Moore and his brother Samuel. The show was asked to return to 45 Downstairs and subsequently invited the Cornelius Theatre in New York City. The show is currently in negotiations to tour Japan and New York.
For theatre Reuben has appeared in: Silly Season, Romeo & Juliet, Brilliant Traces, Boxed In, Superfreaks and BABY The Musical.
In the coming year watch out for Reuben in Reuben Krum¹s NAUGHTY SHOW at The Northcote Town Hall for the 2008 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Be A Little Less Stupid with Cara Cleary in May and Reuben Krum in BEHIND BARS in December.

Melbournes own International Drag Troupe
Drags Aloud is a Melbourne based International Drag Troupe. Before finishing their sell out season at the 2006 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, they were invited to perform their Sound of Music Drag Show at the renowned Gilded Balloon venue as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Their show became the most successful first year show at the fesitval, garnering review accolades and festival wide celebrity. Known for their professionalism as an "Ontime, Everytime" troupe the Sound of Music recieve numerious awards from the Festival. This included the 2007 Readers Award for most popular coverage in the prestigous scotland on sunday newspaper. Following their featured appearance on the BBC's Fringe preview show these "Queens of the Festival" were one of only 8 acts chosen from almost 400 australian entries to perform at the Annual Command Performance for the Australian High Commissioner.
